ENROLL IN 4-H (New Youth Members)

Youth must complete 4-H enrollment BEFORE participating in the 4-H Program. 

Youth are eligible to participate in 4-H if they meet the following criteria:

• Primary Member: Must be 5 years old on or before December 31, 2024. Youth who turn 9 on or after January 1, 2025 must participate as a primary member until the end of the program year.
• Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Members: Must be 9 years old on or before December 31, 2024. Youth may join if they are not 19 years old on or before December 31, 2024. Youth who turn 19 and who are already a 4-H member may continue capstone activities through December 31, 2025.

STEP ONE 
Find a local 4-H Club: 2024-2025 Napa County 4-H Community Club Catalog
Consider both location and project offerings when selecting a 4-H Club.

STEP TWO
Contact the UCCE Napa County 4-H Office to let them know you are interested in joining 4-H. They can help you with the 4-H enrollment process and connect you with the club leader.

STEP THREE
Submit a 4-H youth member enrollment application online in ZSuite.

Click Sign Up and create a household. Click + Household member to add individuals to the household. Enter all required information and submit. The youth member enrollment status will show as PENDING APPROVAL.

STEP FOUR
Submit $62 program enrollment fee to the UCCE Napa County 4-H Office.

Credit Card: Pay online at http://ucanr.edu/napaenrollmentfee; service fee added.

Check or Cash: Make payable to UC Regents and drop-off or mail to:
UCCE Napa 4-H, 1710 Soscol Avenue, Suite 4, Napa, CA 94559
(no service fee charged for checks or cash).

Request Fee Waiver: The 4-H Youth Development Program is open to participants, regardless of their ability to pay. To request a waiver or reduction of program enrollment fees, please submit your request in writing to the 4-H office.

STEP FIVE
When approved, notification of your 4-H youth enrollment will be sent from ZSuite. At this time, you may attend a club meeting and meet the club members and leaders. Welcome to 4-H!
