Winegrape irrigation
UC Cooperative Extension Specialist Terry Prichard
The California Irrigation Management Information System (CIMIS) manages a network of over 120 automated weather stations in California. CIMIS was developed in 1982, to support California irrigators to manage their water resources efficiently. CIMIS operates two weather stations in Napa County: Oakville and Carneros.
A study evaluating the
suitability of recycled water
for use in vineyard irrigation in Napa County was completed in 2006.
