Friday, November 1st, 2019 will be the last day to purchase 4-H uniforms directly from the UCCE office located at 1710 Soscol Ave., Suite 4, Napa 94559. We currently have scarves, ties, record book covers and various hat sizes available.
How do I order 4-H attire and supplies?
Orders may be placed using the Leslie Carman Order Form (attached).

The Countywide Goat Project is looking for a new Goat Project Leader for next year. If you would like to be considered for this position submit your name and background to the Napa County 4-H Council. The council is looking for someone that has knowledge about all goats.

4-H Council will host "Recognition Night" on Tuesday, May 14, 6 pm to recognize the 4-H Adult Volunteer leaders for their years of service - thank you leaders for all of your hard work!
4-H Council will announce the County Ambassadors for 2019-20 and the high school seniors receiving a scholarship.

Interested in learning about 4-H? The Countywide Leadership Project and the Napa County Ambassadors would like to invite you to attend the first ever "Ice Cream Social" on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at the UCCE/4-H Meeting Room (1710 Soscol Avenue, Suite 4, Napa, CA 94559) See this months issue for more details!
Napa County 4-H Camp Week I will offer Clover Day Camp to our younger 4-H members who are not old enough (ages 5 – 8) or not able to attend our week long camp program. Clover Day Camp is on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m. at Las Posadas 4-H Camp. There is a $25.00 fee and your application must be submitted by Monday, April 15, 2019.
The UCCE/4-H Office will be closed on Monday, April 1, 2019 for Cesar Chavez Day Holiday.

This year National 4-H Week is Sunday, October 7 to Saturday, October 13, 2018. This month clubs will showcase their activities and project in storefront windows and displays throughout Napa County. A proclamation signed by the Napa County Board of Supervisors (B.O.S.) will be read on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in the B.O.S. chambers. This year National 4-H Week includes “4-H Spirit Day” on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. See newsletter for additional information!
Fall Faire – Sponsored by the UC Master Gardeners is Saturday, October 20th, 2018. The Las Amigas 4-H Club will be showcasing their “Giant Pumpkins” raised in their Gardening Project. Tickets are $5 for adults and can be purchased at the UCCE office, kids are free!

The 2018/2019 Enrollment Procedures for leaders and youth members are located on the UCCE/4-H County Website: http://cenapa.ucanr.edu under the 4-H Youth Development Program. Remember that all members and leaders are required to enroll on “4hOnline.com” again this year.

A workshop is being offered in Sonoma County, Before Fire Strikes: How to Prepare Your Home and Create a Resilient Rural Landscape – this event is for both urban and suburban homeowners and rangeland/forest property owners.

It's fair time!
There is a MANDATORY Community Club Leaders’ Dinner/Meeting held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. All current and new Community Club Leaders, Co-Community Club Leaders, or Assistant Community Club Leaders must attend this meeting for the new “2018/2019 4-H Program Year.” Please RSVP by Friday, August 24, 2018.

The Napa Town & Country Fair’s website is open at http://www.napavalleyexpo.com. Make sure you read and understand the Local Rules, Junior Livestock & Auction Rules, online enrollment procedures, etc. The Mandatory Fair Work Day is scheduled for Sunday, July 29 at 9:00 a.m.
The “Lost and Found” from Camp Week I is available at the UCCE/4-H Office until Friday, August 24, 2018 after that date the items will be donated to Goodwill.
The UCCE/4-H Office will be closed Wednesday, July 4, 2018 to celebrate Independence Day Holiday.
